Imagine a new, more cost effective and beneficial way to offer childcare in the workplace.  A Helping Hand Professional Nanny Agency, LLC has developed a comprehensive and unique program that allows companies to offer childcare in the workplace in a home setting without the restrictions and licensing requirements that come with opening a child daycare facility in the workplace.  AHH-PNA has vigorously examined the numerous advantages and continuously growing need of childcare in the workplace and has taken its findings to the next level through developing the Workplace Nanny Share Program ©.

As two income families become more prevalent in today’s society, childcare is a continuously growing issue of enormous importance to employers, employees, and the economy. In 1996, 51 million working Americans, representing 38 percent of the labor force, had children under the age of 18 (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 1997).  These statistics clearly represent the growing demand for quality childcare among working parents.  A 1995 conference Board survey found that many companies believe there are substantial benefits from offering childcare in the workplace:

  • 62 percent of respondents reported higher morale
  • 54 percent reported reduced absenteeism
  • 52 percent reported increased productivity
  • 37 percent reported lower turnover(Investing in Childcare – US Dept. of Treasury)

AHH-PNA prides itself on it’s personal and hands on involvement with every company and it’s employees to ensure the individual needs and expectations of everyone involved are met during the entire development process of the Workplace Nanny Share Program ©.  AHH-PNA will work with the company from the very beginning phases of the project through the final phases including: specific recommendations for designing the nanny care facility, thoroughly pre-screened nanny candidate referrals for each employee using the program, and educational and informative resources relating to hiring and retaining the “perfect” nanny.

WORKPLACE NANNY SHARE FEES

PROGRAM ESTABLISHMENT FEE

A $4950.00 non refundable Nanny Share Program Establishment fee is charged to each company – per each separate location – establishing a Nanny Share Program on or near the company workplace.  The fee is due upon acceptance of the nanny share program and before any renovations or nanny referrals take place. 

NANNY PLACEMENT FEES

THERE IS NO PLACEMENT FEE FOR THE “HOUSE NANNY” – If the company decides to hire more than one “House Nanny”, the existing regular placement fees will apply.

  • $875.00 for assistance in hiring a full time (30 or more hours per week) or part time (less than 30 hours per week) permanent placement nanny (service needed exceeds 3 months)
  • $300.00 for assistance with hiring a temporary placement nanny / child care provider (service needed is for more than 6 weeks but less than 3 months)
  • $100.00 for assistance with hiring a mother’s helper for a time period of 6 weeks or less. 

NANNY REPLACEMENT POLICY 

If the hiring family/company decides in good faith to terminate the employment relationship with the nanny for any reason what so ever, AHH-PNA agrees to credit the following amounts specified during the following time periods – THE CREDIT MAY ONLY BE USED TOWARDS A NEW NANNY PLACEMENT FEE CHARGED BY AHH-PNA:

  • 30 – 60 days – 100% of agency placement fee
  • 61 – 90 days – 75% of agency placement fee
  • 91 – 180 days  – 50% of agency placement fee
  • after 180 days no further credits will be given
