A Helping Hand is one of the most thorough professional nanny placement agencies in business. With extreme care and attention given to each family's needs and expectations, and the highest quality first hand professional knowledge in the nanny industry, it is our promise at A Helping Hand to provide the most exceptional service while assisting families in search of a nanny and/or child care provider.  

As the founder of AHH-PNA, Nicole has fourteen years of experience in the nanny industry and a background in Elementary / Middle School Education; both have provided her with the proper knowledge and first hand experience to run an exceptional agency.  As a nanny herself for over ten years, Nicole knows what it takes to be a successful and trustworthy household employee, and the true importance of the nanny / family relationship.  With this knowledge, Nicole personally interviews and pre-screens each and every candidate who applies with AHH-PNA.  Furthermore, Nicole is extremely sensitive to family needs and is VERY selective in the acceptance process of the nannies who post applications with the agency. 

As we at A Helping Hand do our best to find the most qualified and suitable nanny for each family, our nanny profile page will allow the families to search as well at their own discretion and/or research the nanny that has been referred to them by AHH-PNA before a personal interview is set.  Once the family has decided to hire AHH-PNA as their nanny placement agency, further detailed information about the nannies listed on the profile page will provided to them upon request.  On the nanny profile page, the families will find introductory bio's on the different nannies including information outlining their qualifications, child care history, views on discipline, personal habits and hobbies etc. 

EXCLUSIVE EMERGENCY BACK UP SERVICES OFFERED ONLY THROUGH A HELPING HAND!!!!

FREE EMERGENCY BACKUP ASSISTANCE IS OFFERED TO ALL FAMILIES WHO HIRE NANNIES THROUGH AHH-PNA!  In the event that your nanny is suddenly in need of the day or days off, we will put forth our best efforts to provide you with emergency back up care through one of our available nannies currently seeking placement opportunities.  There is no agency fee charged for this service.  The minimum required nanny pay rate for emergency back up care is as follows (families may offer a higher pay rate at any time!):

  • $10.00 / hour for one child
  • $12.00 / hour for 2-3 children
  • $15.00 / hour for 4 or more children
