Location: Waukesha (West Side), WI Position: Live out – Full time – Long Term Nanny Start Date: Approximately June 2, 2010 Hours: NANNY MUST BE WILLING TO BE VERY FLEXIBLE WITH HER SCHEDULE/HOURS J! 3 days/week - Monday’s 7:30a.m. – 6:30/7:00p.m., Wednesday’s and Friday’s 7:30a.m. – 6:00p.m. Possible Saturday’s – nanny may be needed on rare occasion on a Saturday no more than once per month 7:30a.m. – 1:00p.m. Mom is a family physician and is often on call; dad is a Veterinarian and works Saturday’s. When prior arrangements for childcare have not been made, the nanny may be needed on short notice. Family would love a nanny who is open to doing periodic nighttime babysitting as well. Pay: $10.00 - $12.00/hour based on nanny’s previous experience and qualifications Benefits: 2 weeks paid time off (one to coincide with family vacation - one at nanny’s discretion with proper notice – nanny may be asked to house sit and care for dogs while family is on vacation, this is negotiable) – all paid holidays that fall on a scheduled work day – paid time off for any scheduled work day nanny is not needed due to personal family time – health insurance benefits to be discussed Children: newborn baby girl due January 27, 2010. Nanny Requirements: The nanny must have previous experience caring for newborn infants and toddlers, and be extremely comfortable with all tasks related to the care of a newborn i.e. feeding, diaper changing, dressing, napping, calming and soothing a baby etc. If not already certified, the nanny is required to get First Aid and infant / toddler CPR certified before her first day of employment. The family is looking for a non-smoking nanny who is active, patient, trustworthy, warm, caring, creative, energetic, outgoing, bubbly, and/or laid back but good with structure, flexible, confident, and educated (a nanny with continued education is preferred)! Mom and dad are looking for a nanny who is willing to be open and share her previous experience/ideals caring for newborns/infants/toddlers but not someone who is overbearing in her personal opinion/approach with child care. The nanny should be willing and excited to grow with the family as a part of their family. Responsibilities: Provide safe, loving, fun and educationally stimulating care for the baby throughout the day. The nanny will be responsible for all of the primary care related to the baby. During naptime, the nanny will be responsible for general straightening up, vacuuming/sweeping when needed, filling and emptying the dishwasher, baby’s laundry, and keeping the baby’s toys, room, and play area tidy. Nanny will be responsible for feeding the family pets (2 dogs and one cat) and letting the dogs outside to go “potty” when necessary. The nanny may be asked to assist with basic meal prep or place a pre-prepared meal in the oven on occasion. The parents may occasionally ask the nanny if she is available for extended evening hours on short notice and the nanny would be compensated for any hours that exceed the week’s regularly scheduled work hours. Additional Information: This laid back, fun, generous, and down to earth family is looking for a nanny who wants to be considered a part of the family. Mom and dad have busy and sometimes unpredictable schedules. They prefer keeping a routine as much as possible, but are flexible. They enjoy traveling, reading, music, and quiet evenings at home. Location: Elm Grove, WI Position: Live out – part time/as needed sitter/nanny Start Date: ASAP Children: 1 girl 9 years old - Marie Hours: part time – first and third Friday mornings each month (these will be the only regularly scheduled days) – no school days – child home from school due to illness etc. - some summer days Pay: negotiable based on nanny’s salary requests Sitter/Nanny Requirements and responsibilities: Although the family is open to finding a few great on call/as needed sitters, they prefer to find one person who can commit to the two Friday mornings/month and is open to the “as needed” option. The sitter would be responsible for occasional meals, morning and bedtime routines, assisting with homework, transportation to activities, and engaging in fun and educational play with Marie. She should be someone who is responsible, fun, tidy (pick up related to the time she is babysitting), active, mature, and available on short notice. A nanny who is fluent in Spanish and willing to teach/use the language with Marie is a big plus! Additional Info: Family describes themselves as fun, calm, and quiet. They are very smart and creative and enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and martial arts. POSITION TITLE: FOX POINT
Location: Fox Point, WI – family prefers a nanny who lives within a 15 – 20 mile radius of Fox Point

Hours: part time - full time – 25 - 50 hours/week (TBD)
Pay: $500.00/week - negotiable based on previous experience and qualifications
Nanny Requirements: VERY active, PATIENT, (Charley is not very patient with himself sometimes, nor is mom an overly patient person, so it would be good to balance that out with a nanny who is J), healthy, self initiator, kind, outgoing, easygoing, eager to participate, trustworthy, hardworking, loving, full of life, smiles, and self assured. The nanny MUST be EXTREMELY reliable and punctual.
Nanny Responsibilities: Primary care of Charley during the day, including preparing meals, naps, dishes, straightening up, outdoor activities, art/crafts, going for walks, trips to the library, zoo, play groups etc., organizing, reading, and simply engaging in fun and educationally stimulating activities with Charley. Charley has been enrolled in daycare for the past year; however, he has been displaying behavioral issues that require more one on one attention so that is why mom and dad have chosen to hire a nanny. Charley is simply learning how to test others and his boundaries. He also has a lot of energy that sometimes comes out in frustration. The nanny MUST be someone who will work with mom and dad as a team and help them develop a solid routine and keep consistency in Charley’s daily life. There has been a lot of transition going on in the last year which may have a lot to do with Charley’s current behavioral issues. It is important for the nanny to be someone who can “hold her own” and not back down, set firm but fair boundaries, discipline with firm but nurturing ways, and be EXTREMELY patient with Charley. The nanny will need to organize active and educational activities for Charley. Mom and dad may keep Charley in daycare very part time during the week, but will determine that when they meet with their new nanny.
Additional Information: Family describes themselves as an active family who works hard and enjoys playing hard, too. They take full advantage of their time off on weekends and holidays/vacations to travel, be outdoors, etc. Mom will be working from home most of the time, except when she’s traveling which will be about once a month for 2-3 days at a time. Dad would be traveling very little if at all, so when mom is gone, he would be the main person for Charley and the nanny to work with. Even though mom will be working from home, the NANNY will be the one in charge during the day, so she needs to be someone who is very comfortable with doing that.
Pets: 2 very mellow older labs that are extremely friendly - 2 cats, one is very friendly and the other is a bit more shy, not mean - just does his own thing.
